Any 45-70 300gr Ballistic Silvertip deer kills so far?

How do you guys think this bullet is doing so far as a deer bullet? I'm sure it will curl up a coyote, but was wondering how destructive ( compared to the Hornady 300 HP) it is on deer and at what speed? My rifle is 18.5"

I haven't tried them yet, but I heard another guy say that it hits them like the hammer of Thor. He said he and his daughter even use them in their muzzleloaders.

That was me that spoke those words.
About a dozen or so deer have been taken by my daughter and myself using the .458 cal 300 gr BST. I recovered one bullet, the rest were pass throughs. Usually a very short but heavy blood trails.
My Marlin 1895G put 3 into a group that went .400" at 100 yards.

Thanks JD. Years and years ago I shot the 300 Partition in a Browning 1886 carbine. It was very accurate but I never killed anything with it...
