Hey,

Anybody here use products from Lee Precision?? I used a few of their products, mostly the case trimmers. I was just wondering who else does.

I tried their rifle dies and wrecked a few sets with stuck cases before I just stopped buying them. I also tried their collet neck die and didn't like it. Their Carbide Pistol die sets are great, I really like the set I have in 44 mag.

I really like their case trimmer tho, it is so simple and basic to use when attached to a speed drill or power screwdriver it is great. I trimmed about 1000 rounds last year watching hockey. I also deburred the flashholes and cleaned the primer pocket too. with other tools. I also love the forester outside neck turning tools, work great for the amount of effort they are to use.

I used to use the chmfer deburring tool and primer pocket cleaner from lee too, but have switch to RCBS primer pocket brush and deburring tool. Truthfully, I think that the Lee were better dollar for dollar since I can buy 4 for the price of 1 and the RCBS isn't much better. I also used to put that in a drill and just barely touch it to clean a pocket. The deburring tool wasn't great, but was 25% the cost of the RCBS as well.

Just curious who else uses these products. Also I'm looking for a case length gauge for 264 win and 257 for the lee case trimmers. PM me if you have one to sell please.

I have a set of Lee carbide .44 maggie dies. They work perfectly fine, load great ammo, but I don't like them. Don't like the O ring instead of a set screw on the lock ring (to adjust how far you can screw the die in). Don't like how the red cylindrical storage 'box' doesn't match my other RCBS and Redding boxes (yeah, I know I'm a bit OCD). Never bought anything else. Played around with one of their shotgun presses and was not impressed. Plus, I never really liked their advertizing.

Notice I never said they didn't get the job done. Just didn't like 'em. That's how I roll.
