I have a broken window pane in this wood frame window. There doesn’t appear to be anywhere it separates to remove the pane. It’s a wood frame window from the 80’s. I can’t find any bead or glazing or joints other than the finger joints where the frame pieces join. There isn’t any removable stops. I know there’s a way but I can’t seem to figure it out. There is a thin strip on the vertical edge with a plastic pin/screw thing, but not 100% certain if that will be enough to slide the pane out. I assume I’ll need to replace the double pane as a unit once I figure out how to remove it since it’s “sealed”??? Thanks for any insight.

if you have a window supply store near by I'd take the window out and take it to them . they would probably know how it comes out of the wood frame . they can measure it and get a new one ordered . years ago my neighbors lawn mower threw a rock through one of my windows . I took the whole window to a local family owned window supply outlet . they showed me how the vinyl frame came apart , measured the window , and had me a new window pane in a few days .

yes , the double pane comes as one unit
