At least here it is. Appears that supply has caught up with demand. A local gunshop got in ten AR-15's from Spikes. Good guns. They're priced at $999 each, which is a pretty doggone good deal for a quality AR-15 with flip up sights etc. The same shop is also stocked up on PMags and all sorts of other AR-15 goodies.

Nice to see. Makes me wonder how those guys who paid $2500 for the same thing a few months ago are feeling.

Now, if I could just buy a couple thousand rounds of 5.56 or .223 at a reasonable price!

Good news Guy.
I stopped in a N. OH shop yesterday and they had 12 or so. DPMS, S & W, couple Rugers and some others. Had 223 too but 100 limit on purchase .
I bet some of those 2500 ARs may go for a deal sometime soon.

Yeah, I am very glad I didn't cave for one. Now will be a decent time to be shopping. I imagine they'll be a few on the market.

I knew the AR-15 shortage was over when I saw a Colt for $999 at Cabelas 2 days ago.

Ammo is still a little pricy/restricted sales, but some rifles are on the shelves again.

Its the same here in this market.
I think I will be adding an AR to my toy box.

I picked up an Olympic Arms A4 a couple weeks ago at my local WalMart for $654.00, which included taxes.

Not sure we will see the prices return to where they were this time last year, but they will be coming down.

And I have no pity for those who paid double or triple for them during the panic. Already seeing a few come into my LGS for sale...... above the current prices.

But I paid $1700.00 for it!!!!!! Yeah... that was then... this is now.

Crazy, people were paying nasa prices for wal-mart quality. Would expect a flooding of the market with low end ar-15s.

I got my Sig M400 JUUUUUUST ahead of the price hikes....grabbed it at the local Cabela's for $899, so I felt ok that I didn't get put over a barrel TOO badly, lol.

It was pretty crazy that same day to see the same gun on Gunbroker going for nearly 3x that price!

Every shop I've been to lately has ARs up on the wall. Prices are a bit higher, but not exorbitant.

22LR, 9mm and 223 are still a pipe dream.

There are at least a dozen on the shelf at my LGS. He never gouged, but did limit people to one per day. He was sold out for a few months and ones that came in sold quickly. He just got in a Rock River Coyote I've been eyeing, I'm holding out for a RR R3 though.
