So do an Oct hunt Wayne.
Dec is hard to draw but Oct has less pressure and the deer aren't so wise.

Wish I could. I have my Montana hunt at the end of Sept. I think I'm on travel most of Oct. as well. I will probably do OTC archery in December after my Elk hunt. I'm wishing I wasn't so busy but my work laid off almost half my department so we're on almost non stop travel.

Sorry to hear that Wayne.
I just entered myself and my hunting partner for the Deer Draw. Now I need to have a serious chat with him as I'm thinking about applying for Desert Bighorn. One unit, two tags, and I want to enter the both of us. Wouldn't that be a hoot if we got the only two tags in the unit?
If I do desert bighorn it will be in this one unit for reasons known to me and my hunting partner. Now I just need to come up with a good line for the wife if we get drawn. She's not planning on me hunting too much this year. Oh well.

I like to play the odds, long odds. :grin: Wouldn't it be a fairytale if we drew as a group the first time we entered? What the heck, somebody has to get the tag, right?
