So I "had" to take a couple years off. The Wife and I bought a new place and other projects took precedence over getting the reloading station set back up but I finally got it completed this weekend. Anyways the new place offers me a great 100yd. range right out the window next to the reloading bench; nothing but forest for miles in that direction and a good hill for a backdrop. Shooting bench is still in the production process but I've got the itch again so wanted to work up a load for a new to me 6mm Remington I picked up a few months back. It's getting to be about that time up here and I'm thinking the 90gr. E-Tip is going to be good wolf/coyote medicine. If someone could help me out with a Quickload with the below ingredients I would greatly appreciate it.

90gr. E-Tip
Hornady Brass
Federal LR Match Primer

Thank you as always gentlemen and it's good to be back. IMG_20161107_145503584.jpg

Nice loading setup! And, welcome back.

I don't have Quickload, but have been loading the 6mm Rem for a long time now. Found that a "book max" of RL-22 behind a 95 grain Ballistic Tip is a terrific combination for coyote, whitetail deer and mule deer. Excellent accuracy and excellent on-game performance. Haven't ever tried the 90 grain E-Tip, but I know David (6mm Remington) has seen excellent success on game as large as elk with it.

Regards, Guy

Welcome back friend! It looks like you've a wonderful setup!

Good hunting. That 90 grain E-tip should be a great bullet in your .244 ;)

Dale

I'll have to look at what I have at home. My son's Ruger MKII we used H100V power in his with the 90 gr. E-tip. He has taken several antelope, a nice buck, and his first elk with it. The elk was one shot at 350 yards!!

That'd be awesome 6. I'm hoping to draw a caribou permit as well for next season and think this rifle may be my go to for that hunt if I get it as well. Of course I'll have to decide between the E-Tip, Accubonds, BT's or Partitions.... decisions decisions. Such is life.
