Bait...

Man, I'm glad you didn't name the MSgt of the Marines. Otherwise, I'd think I knew who this was aimed at. That would be a steal. The 325WSM is a sweet cartridge. I know from experience it will take down moose and elk with authority. Mine was one of the last to come out of the New Haven factory.

...might be a little "stout" in the FWT, but not uncomfortably so, I shot a Tikka T3 Lite & Browning A-Bolt Stalker .325, both are almost a pound lighter, neither were unmanageable...

...whoops, the Tikka was a .338 Fed...

Mine is a stainless FWT; I don't find it terribly stout. It is comfortable to shoot.

...that .325 is a rock shooting sonagun!!!

Uh oh. That is a sharp Featherweight. The 300WSM seems pretty easy to shoot in the current Featherweight, so I am thinking the 325 wouldn't be horrible at all.. Can always count on you all to keep me straight!

The 325 will find its way into the safe soon enough. I would take a NH made one in a heartbeat. I haven't had an issue with any of mine. Matter of fact, they have all been excellent.

Thanks Gene for the look up. I have it saved in my GB searches. Might have to put a watch on that one.

Might! Might! You must be more positive! After all the hard work Gene went to looking that up, show some gratitude!

Yes Scotty are you not glad that we are always looking out for you.
You could have a whole collection of 35s in the Model 70. That would be very interesting at the start of hunting season how would you choose? 8)

Blessings,
Dan

It is hard enough to choose now Dan! To be honest though, that darned M700 CDL gets alot of time in my hands. Need to find a proper Winchester in a 35 so I can remain in the club!

Scotty,

That 325 WSM will complete your WSM collection.

Man, I feel like someone is trying to tell me something? Weird, do you guys feel it too?

If you lived in Canada, it would be easier to ignore the fine recommendations. Then, you'd just look at the great prices and weep. Man, if I lived in the States, I'd be all over that fine rifle like stink on a skunk. However, there is no pressure intended from this quarter, Scotty.

That is exactly like mine, Scotty. I do love the look of the stainless and walnut. The price is a bit dear, however.

That is what I thought too. I am keeping my eyes on the Featherweight Gene put up though.

Do your pants actually catch fire when you make statements like this?

Yes, I met some more young gents yesterday that are really into this shooting game.
There was 3 or 4 of them & we had a great talk  the old stand by calibers are really starting to go away. I can't believe all the 6.5s that are being made one guy is having his 3rd different one built right now a 6.5 X 300WSM I can't wait to see this little lady.
They have the motto never sell something that you own just buy a new one
This is the first time that I have met with them and I know Jace has spoke with them, as they all asked me when my rifle will be in Regina as they would like to see it. They are interested in the defiance action they have heard about them but no one has actually handled it.
I guess for the first while it will be a bit of a novelty.

Blessings,
Dan
