I can't see your picture, but my brother shot a dove opening day here in Nebraska with a band on its leg. In the past I've shot 3 of them.
Brother in law shot a mallard by Sioux City a few years ago that was banded earlier in Alaska!
Make sure you call it in to get the info.

I have seen a dove band which was neat but a mallard from Alaska killed in Sioux City is cool. Still gotta call in the band.

Congrats on the band they are hard to come by ,makes you look every time you pick up abird.I have one band from YellowKnife N.W.Territory Canada,thats a long way from North Central AR.One man I know killed a bird that was banded 11yrs before in Manitoba.

I killed a wood duck a few years ago on my place in Va and come to find it was banded two weeks before in Illinois. The next year my buddy killed a banded wood duck on my place that came from the same place in Illinois as my bird.
