Barnes TSX BC? False advertising???

I read somewhere that the ribs on the TSX cause turbulence in the bullet flight, causing additional friction, hence slowing the bullet and changing the BC to the point that the TSX doesn't perform close to the advertised trajectory in long range shooting. Can anybody shed light on this?

I have no experience with Barnes TSX bullets but I have heard rumblings about this. It makes sense but again I have no experience with their bullets.

Yes, Barnes is recalculating their original/optimistic BC's. They are doing it right though, using a 300 yard range to get values and average them out. We will see.

I am intrigued with the Tipped TSX though!
