Barrel Break In - What is your routine

I read the Nosler way of breaking in the barrel and was wondering if anyone used another method.

Every write up on barrel break-in is a variant of what is published here. The shooter is burnishing the throat to polish tool marks, and perhaps burnishing the barrel. In any case, taking care at this stage will ensure long barrel life and easier cleaning in the future. Those who attempt shortcuts usually discover that there are none.
