Barrel lenght Question ?

With a 44 mag revolver with a 7.5 in barrel, then going to a 22 in rifle barrel.
How much velocity will be gained?

If your using full snort loads I would think 300-400FPS depending on your load and such. Scotty

Scotty, you are on the money with your suggestion. With a 240 grain Nosler4 JHP and a stiff charge of H110, QL projects a difference of ~350 fps between a 7.5 inch barrel and a 22 inch barrel.

With a 240gr bullet, and WC296,
a 7.5" barrel will get you around 1500.
a 22" barrel will get you around 1900
