Bell and Carlson stock fit needs work

Done deal. I ended up fumbling around and doing it myself, had trouble here and there learned how not to do it next time, but turned out well I think real solid and floating. Next time will be much easier.

Good for you! Saved some $ for ammo money too! CL
Thanks, I was thinking I bit off more than I could chew for a bit there. Also was not as well prepared as I coul have been. Ended up using JB weld origanal formula as all I could find that people had used. Sounds like it not a popular option. I did have lots of clean up but action clean. I think I will go over it again at some point. I am proud of it learned alot about it too. Wife is happy about the $$ saved. Any thought on A4350 powder. I had 2 pounds been wanting to try out on something thought I'd try that as sierra tech told me its a good powder for the 165 TGK.

maybe I over looked it , what is the rifle chambered in ?

Just thought Id give an update on the progress. Shot the rifle yesterday and stock was solid. Did some fire forming with Norma Whitetail factory ammo and it shot it pretty good barrel got pretty hot and still held 1.5 moa at 100y over 20rds of the factory stuff.
I did shoot 1st rounds of reloads a couple days back, but it was troubled. 1st group was good sub moa 3 shot group but slow speed like 2500 to 2530 fps, 2nd group also moa 3shot group, but the last shot of this group had pocket failure (pin hole and some gas/smoke from wrong end of rifle bolt face blackend a bit too). I may start a thread on this but long story short I shut it down scrapped all 1× fired factory nosler brass shot from this rifle as the pockets are loose and I actually almost did prior to shooting and should have. (Primers went in too easy.) Anyhow after studing a couple days determined loose pocket combined with lighter pressure load not sealing pocket was the case. Also bolt is fine and tested today to be fine but can see where failure happend on bolt face (tiny knick).
So had to start over and did so yesterday with hornady brass which I had 1x fired. Loaded starting a bit heavier on powder, and (different primer just in case). Shot four 5 shot groups 2 of the groups would have been right about 5shot moa but shot wrong target on both of those so they were 4 shot moa lol. It was wet/uncomfortable all day and was shooting from under truck and tailgate but the rifle stock is great and cofident I have some good data to work with. I think the rifle and me can do about .625 moa 5 shot 100yard soon. Hopefully today. Testing with Norma brass today which I like the best from my limited experience and seems to have about the same case volume as the hornady. Will gets some pictures today and post soon.

Was unable to get to the Norma Brass today but did shoot the last of the Hornady brass I had worked up prior only 2 groups today. 5 shot groups, had 5th shot get me on one group that was looking good. Had a decent group going on bottom left corner and started raining pretty hard and pulled it a bit, also was a bit faster fps than the others in the group. Shut it down as it got rainy on me and no cover. Only was able to get 2 groups of my reloads off but I think it likes about 57g range with this powder. Yesterdays tested all groups seated at. -.025 off and started working with seat today at 57.1g -.018 off also had group seated at -.040 57.1g with Hornady brass I did not get to do to the rain delay.
Really looking forward to the Norma Brass as the primer pocket seat felt very consistant feel and like what I am used to.
I am very much enjoy the new stock. Here is a few pictures of work in progress.
