I picked up a Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon Grade 1 12 gauge with 26" barrels. I got a pretty good price for it on Gun Broker. The balance is good and it just points right where I'm looking. I'm looking forward to shooting it.

Have a buddy with that, liked it enough he bought a 20, 28, and 410 in it. Absolutely loves the Beretta O/U.

I think you’ll be happy.

Now you can buy some tubes for it and have all the shot shell gauges in one gun. I have the 20ga tubes for my Browning Cynergy 12ga.

Thank you fellas. It's a step up from my 870 TC grade trap gun.

Dan,
I want to get back into shooting some trap and skeet. I used to do a lot of that. Want to blow the dust off the old MEC 600 Jr. and 650 presses. I have hundreds of WW AA hulls, 209 primers, wads and several pounds of Hi-Score 700X powder.
I also want to get back into hunting partridge and woodcock. There are also Canadian geese, wood duck and mallards beckoning me to the marsh on our property.

Rich,
Not a bad idea! I was contemplating getting a 20 ga.
for partridge.

Sounds like you have everything to get started. I got back into skeet shooting and traded up a couple of mec 600 12 and 20. With the 12 it can be loaded up or down, very versatile. Hope you get lots of enjoyment with your new toy. Dan.
