Just wondering what is the best 270 Win. load with 140 gr bullet :?:

I always think .375 H&H and 270 gr bullets when I read that, must be my big bore orientation!

I did own a .270 Win once for about 15 minutes.

I have three guns that shoot under 1/2 MOA with:
57GR H4831sc
140GR bt or AB....Doesn't mattter
CCI 200 or WMRP, both shoot well, but the WMRP prints 12" higher
I load WIN brass, but this load is safe in any standard comercial brass in a modern turnbolt rifle.

Yep. 12" just changing primers.
I get 9" difference in my .338 Mag changing between WMPR and CCI 250's.

I have been having good results with Reloader 22 and IMR 7828 with the 140 grain Hornady boat tails. . I have been able to get 3400 + out of them with outstanding accuracy.

Or somebody is seriously overloading a .270WSM (or had one built with a 30" barrel! :shock:
