600 Overkill? 600 Nitro? 700 Nitro? 50 BMG? 585 Nyati? 577 T-Rex?

My buddy and I were trying to figure out just how big of a gun it would take to make a bear fly through the air like a rockchuck. It wasn't reasonable to shoot and explosive enough bullets would be tough to come by.

Not even remotely close...

I need to get a few more pics of it but here is my 375 Ruger stoked with 300 gr Accubonds standing guard last spring while bear hunting.

Is it a big bore? .375 or larger?

G'Day Fella's,

Some real nice rifles there!
I hope a few more arrive with the Jolly Fellow in the Red Suit, tomorrow!!!

Merry Christmas to you all, from Down Under!

G'Day Fella's,

Here are a few images of a very special, recently made rifle that I imported for customer/mate of mine from it's London UK gun maker, earlier this year.
It's a W.J. Jeffery sidelock, in .450-400 3" chamberings.
Fella's, I'll shut up now and I'll let the images do the talking!

Merry Christmas
Homer

G'Day Fella's,

Sorry but I'm not able to view my own photo attachments (I've managed to switch that off & don't know how to rectify it?)!
Can some one please tell me, how many images have been posted.
Sorry Mr Nosler, if I've doubled up!!!

Merry Christmas
Homer

Very nice rifle! I've never shot a double rifle. Have heard great things about the .450-400 chambering. Seems to me that Craig Boddington had some very positive things to say about it as a buffalo rifle.

Thanks for sharing the photos of that remarkable rifle!

You've now posted a total of five photos--four of the rifle and one closeup of the wood. It is a gorgeous stick, that's for certain.
