Big Horn Sheep

Finally had a day off, so I loaded the family up in the truck and took them for a drive to an area where I know you can usually see some sheep. We weren't disappointed. Got some good pics. Even watched a few get bred.

This guy even smiled for me! Too bad he broke that one horn....I'd still take him if I was lucky enough to draw a tag!

Delightful shot, that. To watch them fletching is simply exciting; I know it means some head butting shortly.

Couldn't agree more. I don't know if I'd ever have the means to hunt sheep, but it is a wish.. They are some incredible animals.
 
No way I'd pass him up if I was lucky enough to have a tag.
Great pictures and report. I love getting out and seeing nature.

I’d definately be applying for some tags. There are few things more majestic looking than a desert bighorn sheep.
