My wife and I spent a wonderful afternoon out in the local hills, watching some wildlife. Thought I'd share a few photos we snapped:

One more photo of the young ram. Haven't had much snow this year, and it's long since vanished at lower elevations. Cold though.

Nice. You are a fortunate man.... but you know that. :) And a break from the remodeling. CL

Thanks guys. Not the greatest mule deer photos - I was trying to take them through my spotting scope, just by putting the pocket camera up to the eyepiece. The ram was easier, we saw him right from the highway. All I did was park and shoot! Road hunting with a camera...

And you're right CL - I needed a break from that remodel task. I'm no handyman, and it's a little daunting dealing with all the issues. I'm learning as I go.

My wife is patient, and she knows I need a day out in the hills or on the stream regularly to stay more or less evenly balanced. It's great when she goes with me too.

About time though to start hiking with a predator call and a rifle. Coyotes need shooting.

Regards, Guy
