Ever since I got my 460 WBY I been looking for a set of Weatherby dies for it. Now that search has been completed



They were a little pricy and in need of some clean up.

Maybe a need to shoot threw round bales when the deer is hiding behind it?

JD338 what's the Black bear population like in MI, maybe another option?

Average make Black bear in Michigan is 250 ish. There have been 600# bears, but are rare. I use a 45/70 Govt on them, but a 308 Win gets it done.. certainly smaller with a little courage and shot placement skill. 7mm would get it done... probably a 25.06 would get it done.

Carried the 460 2 for 2 season and saw nothing (I think the deer were afraid). This past season I took out the 416 WBY and harvested 2 deer. Recoil just puts a grin on your face :lol:
No tracking required with a clean quick kill.

Hunted little blacktails with a 338wm for a few years. Kept it off the big bones it cored them nicely, DRT.
