Buckled cases

I just received my Lee 9mm reloading dies and attempted to reload some of my once-fired brass. All three of the cases I tried got smashed in the sizing die. What are some suggestions to fix my problem. Just for reference these are the dies im using to reload me Sringfield XD 9mm

You might try measuring the die diameter and the fired case diameter? Something sounds out of tolerance?

Carbide dies don't require lubed cases... Steel dies do.... BT

Is there a down side to lubing the cases anyway..surely the microfilm of lube isn't causing my cases to get crushed?

How are they buckled? Evenly, around the entire diameter is crumpled in? Or is one side of the case crushed?

- If you're using the wrong shellplate, you may be getting some misalignment.
- If you have heavy lube, you could be having issues. Go very light and you should be fine with carbide dies.

Could just be bad dies. It's happened before with probably all of them at some point.
