Building a gong target?

Well I think I have plans to make a mobile 10" gong target. I am thinking about using two A frames for sides with a pipe connecting the two. Kind of like a sawhorse. I would then take a piece of snowmobile track and fold it over and bolt it to the gong. That folded track would slide over the cross piece. I think I can make it so the 3 pieces come apart and the gong/track will come apart also. (total of 4 piece) I could then break it down to put in the car and take home.

My goal would be like the stand 3rd from the left on the top bar of this webpage. What do you think?

Should work well.
I use chain and hooks and hang them on the target frame.

That would work but if you want even easier and more mobile setup you can make hang a gong with 3 pieces 4' rebar, 2 s hooks and 2 plumbing T- nipples. Use the gong to beat in the 2 verical rebars then put the 3rd horizontal through the t's. Attach the gong and you're done. Currently, I use this set up in the back yard to hang my archery bag target.
