It's all good. We got a 2015 wish list out of it! It was the state legislature that voted to ban lead. It had nothing to do with a biologist and unfortunately we just have to deal with it for now. I have a wife, two kids, a house mortgage that I just got into and a decent job when they aren't super easy to come by. I would love to leave this liberal state one day and I'm sure that I will but for the next 8 to 10 years I have to stay here...

Desertcj, glad to see you posting and hope Nosler gives you some of the bullets your looking for. They make some great ones and out of all the monometal bullets, I tend to like the ET the most, since it expands with a full frontal area, which would seem to make it kill better than a petal type mushroom since it moves more meat. Hard telling, but Dr. Mike keeps smoking elk and moose with his 270 WSM and he won't be persuaded to keep a few of them in the animals so we can look at them.. :lol:

The only one I recovered, Scotty. I lost one in the gut pile after it had penetrated a moose from the front and into the rumen! That was maybe four foot of moose. Not bad.
