California Tag Question, Help!

HELP!
AS I have posted, I'm going on my first deer hunt, and now my partner (who is the backup) is telling me he can't get a tag for the "B" zone in time! :roll: We need it by this Thursday, and there is a DFG sales office near us in Los Alamitos.., Can he walk in and get a tag , so we can hunt Sat. and Sun.??

Second question; I have *two* tags for the B zone, can't I just transfer one of mine to him??

My company paid a bunch of money for this (my partner had to duck out) and it is an "all inclusive hunt! The deposit is paid and it looks like I'm going alone.

He should be able to get B zone tags over the counter,at Los Alamitos DFG office.No you can't transfer a tag thats all ready issued to someone.As of 9-26-8 they had over 20k tags left,don't think B zone ever sells out.

Ditto!
A, B & D zones are the cash cow tags. They sell unlimited ( in reality) tags in low success areas and you can get em over the counter at F&G offices. Good Luck. B zone is actually the one of the highest success rates in the state at times. Usually thick dense timber. Look for clear cuts early and late.
