Can I blame THIS on the bullet??

Nah...dont think so. More like a loose nut on the trigger.
This was the first load I tried out of this barrel and it was starting to get dark quick after I did a 15 round break-in to smooth out the throat. Sent these 5 down range and couldnt see the target well. Walked down and could have kicked myself in the butt when I saw the flyer. Was shooting off of a versa-pod with a stocking cap under the buttstock :roll:
Load was:
100grn Nosler BT over
52.0 grns RL-19
Fed 210M
Lapua brass
Same load later chronoed 3324fps @ 10ft. from the muzzle
custom 27" Encore barrel from a Douglass blank

Social anxiety!! I like it. Its a 25-284 with a single radius shoulder. Chamber was done with a wire-EDM machine by Mike Sirois of Dover NH.
Nosler, a one in five chance that it was... :wink: .I did some cleaning throughout and after the break-in session with some aggressive cleaners.
