I have been loading for my45acp about 4 years now.I decided to tackle my 30/06.
My problem is that my speer manual does not give me the time at witch I should measure my case length for trimming.
I am going to reload my once fired factory remmington ammo.
Do I measure case length before I full length resize or after I have resized?
Any help will be appreciated

Measure before sizing it to check. I would then size it and measure again, then trim the brass to ensure all are the same length. I use the RCBS X-Sizer dies, which only require an an initial trimming of .020. I have yet to trim another case using this FL sizer die, even after multiple firings.

I use Lee case lenght gage and trimmer. It's caliber specific and you can't go wrong with it. It only cut the maximum COAL. Best tool I have in my bench, and the price is right.

I check length after sizing and before prming.

Yes the lee tool rocks!
