CCI200 vs Fed 210

What is the difference in these two primers if any?

I am comfortable using these primers interchangeably.

I like them both. I've "heard" that the CCI is a bit harder, but I've used both to build good rifle ammo.

Also, for match-grade loads I've used the CCI BR primer and the Federal 210 match primer. I can't tell any difference in 600 yard loads.

I stick with CCI 200 across the board just so I don't have to have a load with this primer, that primer, for this case, etc. I can always find a good load with CCI but the same could be said for other primers including Federal 210.

Federal is a softer primer IMO from what I've seen helping a buddy that was reloading for his rifle. That's not a negative necessarily, just an observation. Flatter primers at the same pressures/speeds, than when he tried CCI. At least in that rifle.

Thanks. I will use the Fed 210 in my plinking loads and the CCI200 in my hunting loads.
