Champlin Custom Bolt Rifles????

Any input on these? What actions barrels etc are they using?

How is accuracy and quality? Thanks!!!



Here is what I was wondering about

Very attractive rifle Fotis but I have never heard of them.

The only thing I know about them is what I read by Ross Seyfreid in the late'80s/early '90s. I recall that he said that if someone were to gift him any rifle, it would be a Champlin .340 Weatherby.

...I know they were a high end importer & custom gunsmith (like Al Biesen), that looks like one of their in-house actions. Very top end custom guns, very spendy, don't know about the accuracy, they have been featured in Gun Digest a few times...

Their forte is double rifles; J.J. Perodeau is a highly-regarded gunsmith, but I don't know how well that rifle is put together. Give them a call and ask about the rifle.

Maybe it was another site I saw some of their rifles ? I look at so much stuff heck it could have been GI or Guns America I saw a 416 Weatherby? Kinda has lines like a browning ?

I haven't heard Ross Seyfried mentioned in awhile. Used to love to read his articles in Gun's and Ammo..
