John morse has conceded after being behind in the recall polls. And the other senator angela giron has just had a major turn. She has been ahead all night til just now! 57% yes to recall 43% no! Looks like we could pull it off and send a big message to our politicians. This is still America and we the people still control our nation!

Go, CO. The nation is pulling for you who defend the 2nd Amendment.

Thanks guys we made it happen! The 2 senators have been recalled and are now out of office for attacking the second amendment. In hopes this will send a clear message to all politicians, that Their job is to represent us the people and when they do not do their job they get FIRED!

It will be fascinating to see if Hickenlooper and crew will pull back somewhat, perhaps even attempt to redress some of the excess.

Well drmike. Not sure how closely you have followed the Colorado nightmare but sheriff terry makita made a press confrence this morning about the recall. And put nicely he said the gov hickenlooper is next. I am interested to see what happens now. As well as what happens with sheriff makitas law suit against the gun laws the were past.

I hadn't seen that news item; but I'm not surprised. Hickenlooper may well be in jeopardy, but I suspect he will survive until the next general election. Then, he will be looking over his shoulder.

Now the laws need to be repealed.

Until that happens this is nothing more than a fruitless symbolic gesture.

Sorry to rain on anyone's parade, just looking at the facts, and the fact remains that the laws are still in effect.

I believe that is in the works of sheriff makita with the lawsuit. As well as both senator replacements have both join in the back makita. So I'm hopeful they will be.

You are correct, however, I'm only in half agreement with you on the fruitless symbolic gesture part... symbolic... yes, but I disagree on fruitless. Politicians like being in power. It sends a message. I'm certainly not saying it is a permanent end to attempts at gun control, but it does send a message to other politicians... for a little while anyway. Sure, it won't help CO residents... or at least not until the laws are repealed, but the politicians who will have involvement in that matter will certainly be thinking about the recall. And with that, I feel the recall will be vitally important to any attempts at repealing the laws. Just imagine if the recall election went the other way... the antis in the state would feel even more secure and emboldened, making repeal attempts a lot more difficult. But you are definitely correct... the laws are still in effect and the recall election hasn't gotten the rights of the citizens back.

Great-gran-pa said it best,

"Toss the bast#rds out"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done citizens of CO.
