I really am a lucky son of a gun. Went hiking on the Arizona Trail up out of Tucson with Catherine. Fixing halibut for dinner listening to Willie Nelson and Dolly, turn around and catch this view of the Rincon Mts. I have always lived in the mountains. Not sure how a guy gets so lucky.

Worst 6 months of my life (view wise) was living out in Saskatchewan where you could literally watch your dog run away all day!
While I may not have always lived where I could see the mountains from my window here in BC and Alberta, it was never a long drive to see, or be back in the mountains. (Usually within minutes)
My dream home would be near a beautiful mountain stream or river, with a view of the mountains out my living room window, with elk and deer playing in the back meadow...perhaps one day!

Yeah, but it's dry heat!

Yeah , but that dry heat can kill you just as fast as wet heat. I've been a desert rat for most of my life and I have a great deal of respect for that "dry" heat.

I went to a drag race in Phoenix in March one year and it was in the upper 90's the whole time. Its really only nice down there about 3 months IMO, Dec. to Feb.
