Coyote vs Mountain Lion

I caught this on another forum. Pretty incredible to come along and see this taking place. I put it in hunting because somebody is obviously hunting here!

I would have thought the Lion would have had the upper hand and kill the coyote but the coyote escaped after he bit off more than he could chew. :lol:

Wow!! :shock:
Fish and wildlife here claim that the mountain lions are killing wolves and they are 150 lbs plus. I'm surprised about the coyote doing so well.

Pretty young lion. I'd say the two were reasonably evenly matched. Neat video, to be sure.

Quite a few years back I came upon a raccoon and a badger in a death fight. The only thing I can think is they just bumped into each other in the darkness and it was on. The raccoon put up one heck of a fight but he eventually was worn down and the badger killed him. I sat and watched them for about 30-40 minutes and I don't have any idea how long it was going on before I came upon them. Nature is something to be sure.
