Currently at BAT Machine, almost done and ready to ship.
Not a hunting rifle, but for F Class
6 BRA BAT Machine MST custom action, right port, right eject port
7.5 twist 30 inch Bartlien 1.25 breech tapered to 1.1 muzzle .274 Neck / .150 freebore
McMillian Kestros with adjustable thumbwheel
Bix and Andy Competition single stage trigger - set to 4 oz.
No turn neck
Pillar bed
Micron full size bushing die and seater
Bullets : 103 Daggers from Barts, 103 Vapor Trails, 105 Berger Hybrids and VLD on hand
200 pieces Lapua 6 BR brass ( need to fireform to 6 BRA )
Nightforce 7-35x 56mm and 34mm rings pending

Curious as to why the .274 no turn versus the more common .272?

And the .150" Freebore with your choice of 105g class bullets instead of the .104" or .135"

The builder at Bat Machine mentioned that he uses the same .274 reamer for several rifles and many of them did very well, and yes most like the .272" and I did question him about it. He never saw any issues with the .274 and .150 freebore.

Gotcha! I'm sure it will hammer for ya. With that .150" freebore you could try the new 120g Berger also.

I'm gonna stick with the .272 no turn and .135" freebore on my BRA, but go with a 28" 7.5 twist Bartlein on my next barrel. I might try the 120 Berger also, but I don't think the BRA really has enough gas for it to make it much better over the 103-109 class bullets.

I've got a stash of 103g Daggers and 105g Hybrids to try in the new barrel, and going to try the 109g ELDM also.
