I just bought some .22 caliber 52 gr to try in my 22 250 and want to know if any one has tried them so I might know what to expect from them. They were only $13.50 at Sportsmanswharehouse so I thought what the heck another bullet to play with  .

What brand bullet are you testing? Also, what rifle and twist are you shooting?

JD338

Nosler Brass
52Gr. Nosler Custom Comp.
36 gr. H380
Federal GM210M Primers
1:14 twist.
If this load shoots five shot groups over .5 MOA something is wrong with my gun. Not the fastest load ever out of my 20 in barrel but i havn't shot a dog, squirrel or paper that could of told the difference.

buckfever - in .30 cal, Nosler's "custom competition" bullets shoot just as well as Sierras. I suspect the .22 cal versions will work out just fine for you.

Good luck!

Opps their Nosler  and the rifle is a savage M12 with 1:14 twist .I'm going to try some H 380 and varget when the weather gets better and thanks for the info jmad_81.
