Die Rust?

Guys how do you keep surface rust off your dies? I wipe them down with a rag on the outside but what do you do for the inside?

I'd give them a light coat of oil.

Heath,
I use gun scrubber to flush the dies out and then a cotton swab with a little light oil. It's amazing to me how much brass and gunk accumulates in the dies.

Don't stop reloading for an extended period of time..... 10 minutes :grin:
Clean them well and let some oil penetrate the die for a couple hours then wipe dry.

Thanks guys. I figured that was the way to go but I wasn't 100% sure since tolerances are tight inside of dies.

old#7 is I would take the time and figure out how to use my RCBS powder dumper I would reload like a machine. I hate measuring pistol charges at 6grs per charge, takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R! I have got to read on that puppy.
