Found these the other day. I got them some time back. They are for 257 Wby and I’ve never came across another seater that looks like this. The sizer has the CH on top for CH4D brand.
Has anyone seen these before , I’m trying to figure out what that adjusting screw on the back of seater is for.

Is CH still in business today?
If yes, give them a call...
If not, I wonder if there is a manual that can be found for those dies by searching Google...
Or someone on a benchrest competition forum might have some info for you...
Or someone at Handloader Magazine might be able to assist...

I can’t imagine that the screw’s only purpose is to keep the inner sleeve from falling out.
I’ve sent an email to CH Tool and Dies (their new name) and waiting to hear back.
I haven’t seen another seating die like this for sale anywhere. I wonder at some they were trying to get into the competition die market.
I bought them used about 12yrs ago when my boy got his 257 Wby. Used the for a bit before getting a Weatherby die set for him.

Jacob from CH got back to me and says that those die are not theirs. He states parts maybe theirs used by another manufacturer.

Man that sure looks exactly like their logo though.

The logo is definitely theirs as it matches on CH dies I have. As he stated their parts might be used by other manufacture at some point. I guess it just covering their end by that statement.
So far I’ve been told that they could be Forster , Herters , and Weatherby. I have many sets from each of those and I don’t think so. I’m still waiting to hear back from Weatherby , I highly doubt they had 2 different manufactures making their dies.
