Difference between...RL15.5, RL16, RL 17

Out of the 3 , I’ve burned many pounds of RL17. I have nothing but great results with it.
My understanding RL16 is a direct replacement for H4350 being temp stable plus a decoppering agent.
If I had to guess RL15.5 is Alliant’s form of Varget temp stable plus decoppering agent.

My 416 Bee loves RL-17 and the 330 GS Custom HV. 3150 fps. I was hoping RL16 would be more temperature stable. Of course this is a moot point, either is unobtainium.

I'd swap you my RL-16 for almost anything else in a second.
Of course, won't be out your way for 2 more months so you'd have to wait a bit for it.

I have used a bunch of 15, some of 16 and a really decent amount of RL17.

16 seems like it does what H4350 does but with a skosh of extra speed along with the temp stability of 4350.

17 has been excellent in just about everything though, fast and usually very accurate. It replaced RL19 as my favorite in my 338 Win a few years back.
