Do the Ackly Improved cartridges generatle higher pressures?

Let's use 30-06 as an example. Would the extra powder in the AI version of the cartridge generate more pressure?

Put another way, would a 30-06 and a 30-06 AI generate the same pressure with the same amount of powder in the case?

Both the pressure and velocity would be lower in the 30/06 AI.

However, the larger case capacity of the 30/06 AI allows you to use more powder to have the same peak pressure as the 30/06 and the extra powder charge means a higher average pressure during the bullet's passage down the barrel and hence, the 30/06 AI has the potential to get higher velocity than the 30/06 while being loaded to same "peak" pressure.
