If I had the money to buy a new rifle, what caliber would it be? I have a 22-250, 30-30, 30-06, .22lr, .17HMR, .338WM, 6.5 Grendel (AR-15), .223 (AR-15). So what caliber would look at getting? I am learning more about reloading all the time and enjoy learning about different calibers.

You have no .35 Calibre rifles. It's about time to pick up a 35 Whelen, a .358 Winchester or a 350 Remington Magnum. Moreover, you don't have a 7mm rifle. Get a .280 Remington and call it quits. Talk to 6mm Remington. When he buys his .280 this week, he'll be able to piggyback your need onto his and get a sweet deal.

+1 to what Mike suggested. In addition, consider a 257 cal such as a 25-06.

A 6mm Remington and a 280 Remington  , but a 25-06 would fit in there nicely also! Or maybe a 6.5-06 or a 6.5-284!

I'd seriously consider not buying any more, and set the money aside towards a special hunt. Something really cool, like a guided elk hunt in the Rockies or even a trip to Alaska for moose or caribou. You've got game in North America more than covered with your selection of hunting rifles.

Or, if you want to really get into rifle shooting, take up competition shooting in one form or another.

Only gap I see is a super long range flat shooting job.

257 Bee Vanguard
270 BEE or wsm

That sort of thing.

Oh, maybe a .264 Sendero, or an M70 Sporter .25-06. Buy I think Guy has the best idea (but this is obviously a case of 'do as I say, not as I do'. :) )

Another thought... what is your glass situation like? Good scopes on everything? Nice spotting scope? Binos work well for you?

I'll keep you in mind when I get the funds together for Mountain Rifles in .280, and an M70 Sporter in .264!

I would have said 35 Whelen, but since you already have a 338WM you won't gain much, but a 25-06 would be a sweet whitetail rig. You already have a 6.5 as well, so again that 25-06 would be a great one to add to your current rifle inventory. Scotty

name it I find it!

I really like that sendero 264 win mag Fotis!

I kind of like Guys idea. If you are just looking to buy another gun, a 270 WSM would be a great choice, or a heavy target/varmit type .243 (or 6mm).

One of my favorites is my Savage 12 LPF .243. Great for ringing gongs out to 1k and not really expensive to shoot.

I heartily second this.

You could likely hunt a new species with little more than the cash you'd need to buy a new nicely-glassed rifle.

After my first-ever western hunt last fall w/ my 8 yo son, I've really taken this more seriously, although my first attempt at selling a rifle to raise hunt money was a flop (I think no one wanted the rifle for the same reasons I wanted to sell it!) and I ended up trading into something different! Oh well...

You're well covered cartridge-wise. Now you need to go forth and kill stuff!

You do have the basics covered my friend but you need a 25-06 or 264, something 270 or 7mm...whichever you prefer, and then something bigger than your 338 Win Mag. Like a 35 Whelen or even a 444 Marlin levergun.

Easy one, 6.5-284! I know you have a grendal but to truly appreciate a heavy 6.5 bullet you need to fire it out of a 6.5-284 lapua case.

A savage American Classic in 250-3000. Of ourse  But Ackley's new 264 would be awful tempting. CL
