Elk Dry Spell Over!

I really love your stories of hiking and stalking.
My neighborhood is so crowded that from some stands you have to pick your shots carefully not to shoot the village behind...
Still dreaming of a 'way-out' hunt.

EE2 congratulations on another fine Elk, thank you so much for giving us this post with photos  it is great when us that are getting a little long in the tooth have a good news story to tell (y)!!
Thanks again.

Blessings,

Thanks, Dan! As I'm sure you could tell, this gorgeous animal was among the most meaningful I have ever harvested. Horns didn't matter. I spent most of September confirming where they were not, and getting in much improved condition. I have thoroughly enjoyed helping others get deer, antelope and elk the last few years - but I was beginning to doubt myself. Feel now like I kicked Father Time back for a little longer!
