A few weeks ago I purchased 2 Redding neck sizer bushing die for my 6.5-284. My loaded round measured on average .294" and my fired cartridge measured .296"so I figured with .002 brass springback, a .291" or a .292"will gave me a .293" resized neck..... Wrong!!!!!!! I run my fired case to a .292 bushing and it measured .288... too small for my liking. Called Redding and I was told to send the bushing back. I asked if they can hone my full lenght sizing die also and I was told that they can but with nominal fee of $26 dollars. I've got a call from Dave at Redding today that my die is ready and they're shipping it back to me. Dave informed me that they honed the bushing to .292 and half... more like .293. He also replaced my .290 bushing with .294 just in case I'm not happy with .292. The full lenght sizer die was honed to match the bushing. I also informed Dave that the seater plug was gouging the VLD bullet so I asked him if he could polish the plug. He told me that I had the wrong plug so he is sending me another one that are designed specifically for VLD bullets. It seems to me like a lot of work for $20. I think I'm gonna be a Redding customer from here on.

I have never had to use Redding yet. That, in itself, speaks well of their product. I have had occasion to use Forster, and the response was superb. I have had multiple occasions to use RCBS (reflecting the volume of RCBS dies and equipment) and they are outstanding. I doubt that there are any die manufacturers in the US that do not give good service.
