I'm on my 2nd F1 shot and killed the 1st one with a direct heart shot 35 Whelen 225 AB :mrgreen:

Typically I set my F1 at 15 ft from muzzle for all my guns can't see that there is much difference in velocity from 12-15 ft.

As stated earlier I too turn down the scope power to ensure alignment between scope muzzle and F1 before proceeding to shoot

I've been using a Cheong for twenty years. I once shot one of the sky screen support rods, but it didn't damage the unit. Lucky...so far!

I've got one I just wounded. Shot the sky screens off of it the last time I used it. It's been siting in a shed for 10 years. I put a new battery in it the other day, turned it on and it looks like it's ready to go. Got new sky screens for it, and it will be with me this week end.
