First Inline

A few weeks ago,my wife won a Remington Genisis Buckmaster .50 Cal. inline and give it to me for an anniversary present. I've been using round balls in my Hawkin rifle and I was wondering if I use round balls in this new inline with 96 grains of Pyrodex R/S ,what would the FPS be roughly? Also with this load can I get good penetration on whitetails?

Your inline will shoot the sabots, powerbelts, or maybe maxi-balls much better than the traditional roundballs as it has a 28 twist and your cap and ball rifle is probably a 48 twist.
