I have the trail camera position on a short trail connecting two food plots along a natural travel route for deer.

First and foremost is the "Long Brow". This is the buck in photo 197 and in the background of photo 207. He is a nine point with five points on his left antler.

Second is "Hook". He is also a nine point with five points on his left side. He is shown on the left side of photo 207 where you can clearly see the hook in his right brow tine. He is also shown on the left side of photo 234 where you can see the spurs at the base of his antlers.

Third is "Wide Brow". He is shown on the right side of photo 234. He is a typical eight point. You can side that his brow tines are clearly wider than his eyes. His main tines are quite long and the end of his main beams have an interesting compound curve.

Fourth is "Short Brow". He is shown in photo 295. He is also a typical eight point. You can see that his brow tines are spaced the same as his eyes - narrower than "Wide Brow" shown in 234. Also the end of his main beams do NOT have the compound curve. The ends of the main beams are wider than "Wide Brow". His main tines are shorter than "Wide Brow's".

Those are definitely some lovely bucks. They hold the promise of a fine fall hunt for you.

When does season open for you ?

The early bow hunting season starts October 1st but I won't participate in that season. I hope to start hunting in the crossbow season which starts November 1st which is when the rut starts to ramp up here. Regular gun season starts November 15th.
