Franchi Instinct L

I apologize, I neglected to follow up on this thread. They are tight at first but loosen up nicely with time and use.
My 16 arrived and I put it to the test on the most expensive duck hunt I’ve been on-rented a blind on private property. Me and the little girl with the 20 gauge limited up. I shot the 16 with bismuth #5 and was vey pleased with the performance. Mine is an instinct in 16 ga -cast is neutral. I shoot left handed and it isn’t quite as comfortable as the older 20 gauge but also it is new and as expected feels different than the others guns I routinely shoot. Much like new shoes and old shoes. I don’t love the fiber optic front bead, preferring the old white bead instead. The chokes strike me as off putting compared to the older flush style as well but if a guy wanted to fuss with chokes this style would be more convenient. Engraving is nice but really nothing as fancy as advertising would want you to believe. Maybe stamped in? The wood is very nice and I have enjoyed the gun so far. The few “extra” touches they add on these guns does make them just a bit prettier to shoot especially at this price point. My 16 does not shoot 3 inch while the old 20 does. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgIMG_0997.jpegimage.jpg
I only shot drakes, told her to shoot at everything. It was a nice day
