Funny things from novice hunters

Wow, what a great story. Thank you for sharing and also adding the rest of the story. Excellent!

When reading the first part of the story the son seemed like he was nonchalant about the whole thing yet, remained focused on the goal. The second part of the story revealed how intense he was about all of it. Most likely he could not say much about it all prior just so as to keep calm. I'm really impressed with how he handled all of it.

This is the kind of story that should be found in some hunting mag or a book.

Hunting Short Stories by Earl would be a good title for a book of Earl's memories.
Or A Professional Hunting Guides Memories (y)

I could be wrong but,

I think Scotty uses the new yack times for that.

We have to ask DrMike to tell a few his hunting stories that he has on when he began teaching Blkram how to hunt !

Blessings,
Dan

Dan...it is becoming readily apparent that you have fallen victim to Pa Pinnochio's tall tales! At your age I would have thought you less gullible than young Noah!

While the good Dr may have few peers on the river with lightweight spinning tackle, If it weren't for his trusty native hunting guide, he would still be turtled over a fallen tree in the backwoods asking "which way is home?" LOL

Luckily he can shoot, so I was able to guide him over the years to his first grizzly bear, first whitetail buck and first bull elk!

Thank you, April. We seasoned individuals must stick up for one another. As you say, with friends like Gil and Cheyenne...

Cheyenne, we the younger, yet woods wise, must stick up for one another too! LOL
