Hiked the Tanque Verde ridge trail today. 11.2 to the summit with about 5000 foot of elevation gain. We made it 5.3 gained 2700 feet, out and back gave us just over 10 miles by lunch time. I keep this up I might be ready for elk season;) The ridge in the foreground is Tanque Verde ridge.
Hope you all had a great Sunday.
Tanque Verde Ridge is in the Saguaro National park. The toilets were not overflowing, the garbage was not overflowing and the place was packed.

It's a good thing Trump shut the border down. You might have to pack heat if he didn't. The next units south of there for hunting even have warnings about illegals in the hunting regs. I just got back from walking the mutts.

We don't have snow and it was in the 50's today but it was in the 60's yesterday. I'm thinking I might have to get out and shoot something, even if it's targets.
