SR4759 Loved for cast and jacketed light rifle loads, discontinued
5744- worked okay but was expensive, haven't seen it for years
Unique, worked in most everything, gone
Red Dot, Gone
Bullseye, Gone
IMR Green, works great for cast subsonic in 308 and 375 ruger, discontinued
Trailboss, good in 308 jacketed subsonic, discontinued
Tin Star, i don't find it and don't know if it works in rifle anyway.

I did find some IMR4227, but it is $70 and limited data for jacketed rifle.

What's left?

I’ve used RL7, either 4198, and H4895. I like the 4198’s more than RL7.

Edit: IMR 4895 would probably work as well as H4895. For cast 308 Win loads you can use IMR4831 with 200+ grain bullets. Seat them touching the lands to help get a complete burn.

Thanks, titegroup looks like a good one being insensitive to position and hodgdon has subsonic lacketed loads for 308 and 30-06. Cast bullets are more forgiving, so titegroup should be easy to find loads for them.

The problem with these is they're made by Alliant and Alliant would rather shaft their loyal customers in favor of government contracts. Simple case of follow the money. One you left out was 2400. I've been looking for some of that for a long time. I like it in .357 and .44 Mags and in the .30 Cal. carbine.

There are internet rumors of Alliant bringing more powder back on market late summer. If true I’m betting a steep price on it. Blackhorn 209 is a good example throw a price on it and people will still buy it.

I wonder why IMR dropped their Red, Green, Target so fast. I bought the Green for $14 in 2023. I saw the Alliant version of Green Dot for $54 last winter. Seems like if IMR could sell something for $14 a couple of years ago they could make big bucks selling it for $40+ now.

1680 SHOULD WORK IN SOME OF THOSE LOADS MINUS PISTOL CARTRIDGES. sorry about the caps. cats walked on the keyboard and i didn't want to retype it.

So i picked up some Titegroup at North40 farm supply. $34. Not bad for today prices and it looks like I can use in 38 special too.
