getting started with the ar platform

For years I have always wanted an ar 15 but my hunting projects always consumed my budget. Not this year! I am buying an ar15 within the next two weeks and was looking for some advice. I have shopped around a bit and I am leaning towards the Lewis Machine & Tool Defender. I was going to go with the QCB but I won't have enough money after to outfit it with the other options I want. My question is, has anyone had much experience with them. I have looked at bushmaster, dpms and a few others but the LM&T just seemed better built, especially the action. Any thoughts?

The LMT is a much better built gun than the DPMS and Bushmaster. You will not be disapointed in one. I would get the one you want and save for the optics.
