Well, I made it out again for a day of calling. The weather was cold, and had spats of snow but it was doable. On the way out of town we spotted seven in fields we did not have permission to hunt. Our first area was dry but had a pile of deer wintering on the property. I was able to get some good photos of a couple different bucks.

We went to another property and spooked five out of a field on the way in...oops. We did a little calling and I was able to get one small and dumb one to come back.

223AI 65gr Gameking 250 yards and it dropped before I heard the wwhhooopp. Small quarter sized exit as I have experienced with the 55gr version over the years. We had a great day even though we went 1 for 12. :)

Looks like a really successful day for you. One of those bucks is a very fine animal. You did a great job with the pictures.

Sweet Pix there AC!!

Thanks for sharing with us... Sometimes its amazing what you'll see when out chasing something else....

Great pic of a pretty decent Mulie - not often you get to see them with those type of brow-tines.

Congrats on the yote - Not sure what makes us keep going back after the darn tricky critters in weahter like that
and 1 in 12, but I'd be right there if it was 1 in 20

Nice pics!

At least you got one! Remingtonman and I went out yesterday and didn't have any luck and saw three. One was sitting at 580 yards and would not come to the call. Hardly even looked at us. With a good cross wind I missed the shot at 580. I got to get things turned around here shortly, I've missed the last five dogs I've shot at    :? .
Nice shooting.

Congratulations on the coypte. Great pictures, thanks for sharing with us.

Always cool to see a couple of bucks and kill a coyote in the same day. I love hunting coyotes when there's snow on the ground... the game is a little different when you can see them first.

Been on streaks like that myself man... and think, the next dog that goes down... well, that coyote will be remembered fondly... tis a true honor to go out as a 'slumpbuster'...

Great pictures and good work with the yote! Hope to get a few myself this year! Scotty
