Goose Hunting

Rem 870 wing master, 3" mag Fed Premium #2's or BB. Or if I'm feeling wealthy Hevi-Metal # 2 or BB.
Dad uses a berretta Extrema2 with the kick off system and a Burris speed bead. He has been having trouble with his eyes. The speed bead upped his kill percentage by over 50 % in the last couple years using it. His patterns Black cloud really well again # 2's.

For years my go to was a magnum Remington 1100 (5 digit serial number) but I got the itch to get a new gun a couple of years ago. I keep the 1100 but am now shooting a Browning A5 and love it. It has a 3.5" chamber and a 26" barrel. For geese I found that the 3" loads of #2s used in the 1100 still fill the bill. With the 26" barrel it also works great for turkey and in the winter it functioned flawlessly on the skeet field with 3 dram 1&1/8 oz target loads. There are many great choices and this is the one I've found that fits my needs.
