Well after taking a youth out, a buddy and my dad, it is finally my turn to turkey hunt. My season started Wed and on Tuesday, I was told I have bronchitis. Talk about perfect timing. I tried to hunt last night after work but it was not productive. I am taking tonight off so I can rest up for the weekend. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired!!!!

Well, I attempted to hunt most of the day Saturday and until noon on Sunday. By noon Sunday, my heart was not in the hunt and every time I sat down, I would fall asleep so I decided to come home. My tag is good until tomorrow night but I am not going out again this season. I have 3 more tags that are good for a week at a time. My goal is to hunt a little this weekend. It sure stinks being so tired and winded while trying to hunt. I knew it was time to quit when my heart was not excited.
