Gun Show in VA

Well, I always kinda troll gun shows looking for any decent deals. I ran across a Browning M71 348 Winchester for 900.00 today. I wished I had 900.00 to spend on it, cause it was a NIB model. It was perfect, even had the 24" barrel on it. Very nice rifle. I had a moment just holding it.

I was able to get 1000 CCI BR2's for 39.00 and two boxes of 270 cal 150gr Partitions for 15.00 a box. That was about the extent of my spending today. I was pretty stoked to get the 270 bullets, as I want to load up a heavy load for my 270WSM and I think the 150gr Partitions will be good. Scotty

You will like those 150 PT in the WSM, I've taken a few deer and one elk with my 270WSM and 150PT.

Works as they always do!

I think I used RL22 but would like to look into RL17. I use it for the 130gn.

I may try some RL17 if I can find some. I will load dual sets, of RL22 and RL17 and see what comes out. I know RL22 shoots well, so I am anxious to give the 150gr PT's a try. The Ballistic Tips shoot really well. Scotty
